Your journey begins with a scenic drive to Thessaloniki, where we first visit Ano Poli (Upper Town), the city’s historic district. Here you’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views over Thessaloniki and the Thermaic Gulf while exploring the impressive Byzantine Walls and the Trigonion Tower.
Continuing into the city center, we visit the famous Arch of Galerius (Kamara) and the Rotunda, two of the city’s most remarkable Roman monuments and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These iconic landmarks reflect Thessaloniki’s rich Roman and Byzantine heritage.
Our next stop is the Church of Saint Demetrios, the largest church in Greece and one of the city’s most important religious monuments. Dedicated to the patron saint of Thessaloniki, the church is renowned for its beautiful architecture and historical significance.
After the guided sightseeing, you’ll have approximately two hours of free time to explore the vibrant city center at your own pace. Enjoy shopping along the famous streets, relax at a traditional café, or sample local Greek cuisine in one of the many restaurants.
Before returning, we meet at the White Tower, the city’s most recognizable landmark. Standing proudly on Thessaloniki’s waterfront, it offers the perfect opportunity for memorable photographs and marks the conclusion of your city experience.
