Tour Description

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the beautiful countryside of Northern Greece towards Edessa, famously known as the “City of Waters.” Built on a natural plateau and crossed by numerous rivers and canals, Edessa is one of Greece’s most picturesque destinations.

Our first stop is the spectacular Waterfall Park, home to the impressive Karanos Waterfall, the largest waterfall in the Balkans, cascading nearly 70 meters into the valley below. Walk through beautifully landscaped gardens, cross traditional stone bridges, and admire the breathtaking scenery. Depending on water levels, you may also visit the unique cave located behind the waterfall for an unforgettable perspective.

Next, enjoy a relaxing walk through Varosi, Edessa’s oldest preserved neighborhood. Its colorful Macedonian houses, cobblestone streets, and panoramic viewpoints offer a wonderful glimpse into the city’s rich history and traditional architecture.

After exploring Edessa, we continue to the famous Pozar Thermal Baths, located at the foot of Mount Voras. Surrounded by forests, rivers, waterfalls, and dramatic rock formations, Pozar is one of Greece’s most beautiful wellness destinations.

Here you’ll have approximately 2.5–3 hours of free time to enjoy the naturally heated thermal waters, which maintain a constant temperature of around 37°C throughout the year. Choose between the outdoor thermal pools, private baths, or simply relax while taking in the peaceful natural surroundings.

Before returning to Halkidiki, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch or coffee at one of the traditional tavernas or cafés in the area, tasting authentic local Macedonian cuisine.
