Tour Description
Your journey begins with a scenic drive towards Mount Olympus, Greece’s highest mountain and the legendary home of the Twelve Olympian Gods.
Our first stop is the Archaeological Park of Dion, one of the most important archaeological sites in Northern Greece. Once the sacred city of the ancient Macedonians, Dion was dedicated to Zeus and served as the religious center of the Kingdom of Macedon. Explore the impressive archaeological remains, including temples, ancient streets, Roman baths, theaters, and public buildings that reveal the city’s remarkable history.
Continuing our journey, we arrive at the foothills of Mount Olympus National Park, where spectacular landscapes, dense forests, and panoramic mountain views create an unforgettable setting.
Next, enjoy a relaxing walk through the beautiful Enipeas Gorge, one of the most scenic locations on Mount Olympus. Follow the forest paths, cross picturesque wooden bridges, admire crystal-clear streams, and discover the area’s charming waterfalls surrounded by untouched nature.
Our final destination is the traditional village of Litochoro, often called the gateway to Mount Olympus. Here you’ll have free time to stroll through its charming streets, browse local shops, relax in a traditional café, or enjoy lunch at one of the authentic Macedonian tavernas.
After a memorable day filled with history, mythology, and spectacular natural scenery, we return comfortably to Halkidiki.
